Christians and Christmas

I stumbled upon this blog post that was written by one of the professors at Southeastern. It does a good job of articulating some of the things I have been thinking about for the past several years regarding the whole “Merry Christmas” vs. “Happy Holidays” squabble. But, it also challenged me in some new ways too. Check it out, and let me know what you think.

One Response to Christians and Christmas

  1. I have not gotten offended nor frightened when folks wish me “Happy Holidays”. But, for my fellow Christians, I do mind it some, more than some. I like it when the world (USA) talks more like we do, but if the Cross is foolishness to the unbeliever, then why should I expect him to promote a manger or a cross? Certainly our churches (we) have back away from the pure and powerful message of the Gospel.
